Out of Your Gourd Pumpkin Porter is dark chestnut brown in color and is made with pureed pumpkin. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger are added to the whirlpool and maple syrup is added during fermentation. Lightly hopped with Northern Brewer hops, Pumpkin Porter is a full-bodied, rich and roasty porter perfect for all things fall – eating turkey, watching football or drinking with your buddies around a bonfire.

Bottle from Brewcraft at home. Opaque black pour with thin white head. Aroma is pumpkin pie + porter...cinnamon and nutmeg plus roasted flavors. Taste is similar - but more generic porter with cinnamon and nutmeg. Body is normal light porter. Finish is pumpkin pie like - but more like artificial pumpkin pie flavor. Interesting but not a repeat.

On tap at Three Kings. It poured a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma was of roasty dark malts, pumpkin and spices. The taste was roasty, with pumpkin and spices. Nice.

Bottle on Halloween. Today I had pumpkin ravioli in Mt Morris and pumpkin ice cream in Avon. I might have one more pumpkin beer left. Oh, this one. Pour is a very dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasty malts with some spice. Flavor is a nice roasted malt with some cinnamon and spice. Finish is thin but has enough spice to be noticeable. Not great but a pumpkin porter is something different.

Dark Ebony with purple tone color Rich Porter with a shallow riding Gord aftertaste little metallics tasting as well. Not super great for a porter or pumpkin. It's really does taste better as the glass gets emptier but the initial tastes and first stips aren't very good, not very impressive. Needless to say it's a decent Porter for fall, okay pumpkin and perfect for raw cold rainy fall day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Weak aroma of pumpkin spice with notes of chocolate. Taste if chocolate and spice. With a creamy feel and spice finish.

Starts out really harsh. Almost a drain pour. Let it warm a bit. Smell is almost non-existent. Appearance is dark brown, very little head, no lacing. Taste is decent, light porter with some pumpkin spice coming through. Not mind blowing, but for cheap it’s ok.

on draft pours a medium to dark brown with little to no head. the initial aroma was roasted malts and pumpkins with minor spices. the flavor I thought was very good...roasted malts. pumpkins and or yams, spices but not overbearing like some. flavor held its own all the way to the end.

hay, floral, citrus, herbs, christmas spices aromablack, minimal head, white foam, light sweetness, taste is fine , a liitle to sweetlight body, thin feel, average carbonation, this is nice for a change but the flavours are a little over powering

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a dark brown, with a medium tan head that slowly fades into a disk on the surface. decent lacing. Nose is pumpkin spice, and the taste follows the nose, with an odd dark malt note on the finish. Not bad, but nothing great. Okay as a seasonal change of pace.

Smells of allspice and pumpkin. Very dark, fizzy head. It’s decent, but not bad.
