Out of Your Gourd Pumpkin Porter is dark chestnut brown in color and is made with pureed pumpkin. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger are added to the whirlpool and maple syrup is added during fermentation. Lightly hopped with Northern Brewer hops, Pumpkin Porter is a full-bodied, rich and roasty porter perfect for all things fall – eating turkey, watching football or drinking with your buddies around a bonfire.

Bottle from Blue Max, nice dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Aroma is chocolate, pumpkin and some lactose/cream like notes. Taste is lightly creamy chocolate and light pumpkin, not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I don’t usually like seasonal flavored beer but this one is a must and being a porter really gives it texture and drinkability!

Nice twist on pumpkin ale genre...really liked this beer... Usually not a porter fan, and have always liked pumpkin ales...liked this interpretation as a porter. Perfect balance of pie spices w dark malt in the porter....A+ ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at the Happy Gnome. Deep red brown with thin ring floating atop. Cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, and light smokiness. Flavor is lightly sweet but fades quickly to a dry spice flavor. Lighter body. Reminiscent of a dry ginger ale.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine and Spirits - Betton - 12 oz bottle. Pours a deep dark brown with a sticky off-white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma has some nice nutmeg and cinnamon notes. Flavor is robust with some subtle spice - nutmeg and cinnamon come to mind - does not overwhelm. Some potting soil and light chocolate come through in the back end. Mouthfeel is just hick enough. Pretty solid.

Pours a dark brownish black from the bottle with dissipating tan head that leaves good lace. Aroma is pumpkin spice and grainy soy. Taste is what you expect, a nice porter with a hint of pumpkin pie spice. Pretty nice.

This is a nice porter, but I don’t taste or smell any pumpkin, nutmeg, ginger, or maple syrup.

Pours dark brown with a ruby tint and a tan head. Roasted malt, chocolate, and pumpkin spice aroma. Chocolaty roasted malt flavor with faint pumpkin spice flavors. Roasted finish. Very nice brew.

Looks like a porter. Spiced chocolate aroma. Taste of roasted pumpkin, pie spices and a little chocolate. Not terribly sweet.

15 sept 2013, bottle. Black. Nose is pumpkin spice and dark chocolate. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Dark chocolate porter with pumpkin spice. I really like this. Pumpkin spice can be a bit too much but the porter really balanced it nicely. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
