Bottle--I was excited by the thought of pumpkin in a porter. It didnít work. Deep brown color with no head. Light aroma of roast and chocolate, some cinnamon, if you try. The taste was roast caramel and the slightest nutmeg on the back end. Soft bitter finish and a little thin. Total Wine.

One of the better pumpkin seasonals Iíve tried. Dark and nutty, nutmeg, cinnamon and pumpkin pie, chocolate and coffee. Rich, full taste, with a short nutty finish.

Bottle from Blue Max, nice dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Aroma is chocolate, pumpkin and some lactose/cream like notes. Taste is lightly creamy chocolate and light pumpkin, not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I donít usually like seasonal flavored beer but this one is a must and being a porter really gives it texture and drinkability!

Nice twist on pumpkin ale genre...really liked this beer... Usually not a porter fan, and have always liked pumpkin ales...liked this interpretation as a porter. Perfect balance of pie spices w dark malt in the porter....A+ ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at the Happy Gnome. Deep red brown with thin ring floating atop. Cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, and light smokiness. Flavor is lightly sweet but fades quickly to a dry spice flavor. Lighter body. Reminiscent of a dry ginger ale.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine and Spirits - Betton - 12 oz bottle. Pours a deep dark brown with a sticky off-white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma has some nice nutmeg and cinnamon notes. Flavor is robust with some subtle spice - nutmeg and cinnamon come to mind - does not overwhelm. Some potting soil and light chocolate come through in the back end. Mouthfeel is just hick enough. Pretty solid.
