12 oz. bottle pours a hazy dark brown color with a medioum tan head that leaves decent lacing. Smells of roasted malt, pumpkin, spices, and maple surup. Tastes of all the same things in the smell. with the the maple surup and the roastiness from the malt and pumpkin at the forefront. mouthfeel is thin and watery with decent carbonation. Overall not bad but I was hoping for more. Still one of my favorite redhook beers though.

12 oz bottle from Party Source. Pours a slightly hazy dark brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malt, chocolate, cinnamon, and additional pumpkin pie spices, some pumpkin, a slightly off vegetal note, a touch thin, worth trying once.

Dark brown black. Light aroma light roast light choc light coffee slight caramel and swirled gives bready malts. Very slight spices in taste otherwise standard porter. Almost lactose but maybe slick feel from pumpkin. Herbal light citrus finish.Disappointed overall. Decent enough porter but was expecting more character.

12 oz. bottled Jul 15, 2015. Pours jet black with a spongy foam on top. Nose is earthy pie spice with some coffee, cocoa and dark toast. Flavors are earthy pie spice, squash, espresso and dark chocolate. A little heavy on the nutmeg and ginger. Still, lots of roast and pumpkin fight back to make this one quite a peasant surprise. Medium body has a pleasant, low-medium carbonation and a very drinkable balance.

Bottle from Signal Variety in Plaistow NH. Aroma is strong pumpkin. Color is clear dark red--almost black. Insignificant transient head. Taste is mainly sweet pumpkin flavor. Palate is medium to full body with above average carbonation (a little too much for a porter) with a fairly abrupt finish. A unique style executed pretty well.
