Biscuity aroma, grassy hop. Straight forward pilsner.

Pours a basic gold, with a low sturdy headring .. . God, it was so personal! Like you could see right through me. .. light hop bitterness, it is quite well balanced! .. . bottled 4/5/10 .. . i enjoyed it, but needs more of an aggressive bite .. . smell needs improvement, but other than that .. . 2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Medium gold colored body with a light off white head. The nose is lightly fruity with some pears and a little bit of pumpernickel bread. There is also some wood. The taste has a little bit of tree bark along with notes of peanuts. There is also some doughy malt in the finish. A fairly clean, dry beer that is forgettable, but not bad.

3.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle into footed pilsner glass. Aroma is bland, full of cereal grain--not much different than a macro lager, really. It’s a little sweet-smelling. Pours a deep clear gold with a medium head which dissipates in a minute, leaving a scrim of foam and decent lace. Taste is sweet and finishes with a slight bitter hop bite, which was unexpected and very much welcome. It made the beer more interesting than what I was expecting. Mouthfeel is creamy. Carbonation is medium-high. Medium bodied. Smooth and very drinkable. A perfect lawnmower beer that you don’t need to think too much about. Just tip a few back and leave your brain back in the alley where it belongs, Beaver. Listen to your father, now. --Love Ward
