COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Redhook Pilsner is brewed in a traditional Czech style and is the first pilsner Redhook Ale Brewery has ever released. Red Hook Pilsner offers a very soft palate and malt flavors that are offset by a medium dose of distinct Czech hops to bring out its authentic flavors. The refreshing beer finishes with a clean, bright, thirst-quenching quality. Red Hook Pilsner pairs nicely with barbecued chicken, bratwurst, spicy food, fresh fish, and green salad. Available Nationwide

Standard Czech pilsner, maybe a bit thin and weak. Aroma of malt, straw, grass. Flavor about the same.

The pour is a clear golden color with a fairly small, white, pillowy head which leaves minimal lace. The nose is typical Czech pils with some biscuity malt, spicy, floral, and light lemon. The similar with sweet biscuit, very spicy, some florals, and still a very light lemon note. The palate is very lively, light to medium, and crisp. The finish is mostly crisp and bitter with some lingering sweet malts. Decent pils with all the right parts, nothing exciting, nothing to detract.

Bottle->SA glass. Golden with light head. Aroma has hops, grass. Tastes of hops, malt, and bread. Tastes more like a light IPA than a pilsner. Decent enough.

Finger of head with descent retention. Medium straw colored body. A nice grain smell with a note of honey. Taste has a little fresh fruit, light grain, and moderate bitterness. Not the best balance, but still good. Crisp and clean texture. Moderate carbonation and a lighter body. A solid pilsner.

Nose has some citrus and grain, along with a healthy dose of skunk. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Palate is lemon candy, canned corn, and more skunk. Not good.

Golden pour with a white head. Bread and slight biscuit aroma, some floral hops, yeast, and a light grassiness. Apple esters, a bit watery/bland, and perhaps some citrus zest. Flavor is malty and sweet. Bread, slight toast, and biscuit. A bit of yeast, apple and pear esters, and some very light floral hops. Mild grass bitterness, some water, and very mild citrus zest.

I poured it out of a 12 oz bottle. the aroma is very sweet and malty. It is a see-thru yellow color with a white head that goes away kind of fast. It taste sweet but also watered down but it is very easy too drink. It goes down very smooth and almost quenches your thrust. Overall It is an okay beer, I just wish it was not so watered down. The best part of this beer is that it is easy to drink and would probably be a great summer beer.

Refreshing and uniquely complex. Earthy while light. This Red Hook Pils has a decent mouthfeel and some nutty undertones. Not the best brew, but it’s great when paired with BBQ fare.

Not too shabby. Malt and a little spice with a little sweetness at the end. Ok pilsner

Crystal clear gold with fleeting white head. Good soft malt, but lacking an assertive hop character. Very faint nose.Yummy, clean pilsner.
