3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
I poured it out of a 12 oz bottle. the aroma is very sweet and malty. It is a see-thru yellow color with a white head that goes away kind of fast. It taste sweet but also watered down but it is very easy too drink. It goes down very smooth and almost quenches your thrust. Overall It is an okay beer, I just wish it was not so watered down. The best part of this beer is that it is easy to drink and would probably be a great summer beer.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pilsener.
The appearance was a soft golden yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about thirty seconds. There was barely any lacing.
The smell had a slight sweet corn to it.
The taste followed the nose.
On the palate, this one sat pretty light and came across pretty sessionable. The carbonation was somewhat sharp.
Overall, decent pilsener. It does the trick as a pilsener but it’s not a standout.

Hazy gold beer, little white head. Light crisp palate. Minerals. Clean malt but not that lagerish. Forensic trace of hops. Light floral note. Crisp finish. Fine but really needs another dimension.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Bobar: Created a fluffy layer of foamed head while the liquid was a sparkling golden blonde. There’s a nice balance of grassy hops and malts that smell good considering this is a pilsner style. The drink was simple, with a subtle flavor of grainy barley malt and a slight notice of European hops. This is a refreshing beer on a hot day near the end of summer in mid September.

slightly citrusy smell, taste is what you would expect from a pilsner with some bitterness and slightly malty/sticky finish

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
09-AUG-2013, bottle @home, from Kvickly.
Clear golden with sediments floating. Low white head that laces a bit.
Aroma is toast and hops. Hops are not very citric but more earthy or tobaco’ish. Taste the same. Some malty sweetness. Medium body and carbonation. Short, slightly bitter and somewhat fruity finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. The actual name of this is Cross Czech Pils. The one I’m reviewing probably came from the Portsmouth, New Hampshire brewery. The pour is straw yellow with a quick foamy white head that quickly evaporates. The aroma is incredibly unique. I was expecting grains and grass like so many other pilseners but while I got some of that there was also a toasted bread and malt character and a vague earthy hop note. But there was something else that I cannot pin down. Light to medium body. The taste has the same characteristics as the body and I really like this buttery, toasty flavor that makes no sense to me but is entirely delightful. It may not be typical for the pilsener style but its uniqueness requires that I give it a higher grade. I could drink a bunch of these.
