COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Redhook Pilsner is brewed in a traditional Czech style and is the first pilsner Redhook Ale Brewery has ever released. Red Hook Pilsner offers a very soft palate and malt flavors that are offset by a medium dose of distinct Czech hops to bring out its authentic flavors. The refreshing beer finishes with a clean, bright, thirst-quenching quality. Red Hook Pilsner pairs nicely with barbecued chicken, bratwurst, spicy food, fresh fish, and green salad. I thought this was a pretty tasty pilsener. Light and crisp and easy to drink. Just not excellent, but still surprisingly good, since Iím not a big red hook fan.

Looks like an orange pils. Little head. Flavor is light, similar to a regular lager, but is slightly better. However, the first good tastes fade as you drink through the beer.

Nice golden color with a bit of head. Grainy nose. Sweet malts on the tongue, with some noble hops coming in on the back end and lingering. Tasty and refreshing ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear golden yellow with a white head. Aroma of straw and light grain. Taste is sweet with a slightly bitter offset that helps balance the sweetness. Easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

~Subtle bready malt aroma with slight sweetness and some melanoidins. Hops are very floral and lightly spicy. ~Pours hazy light golden color with small white head that quickly disappears. ~Bready and biscuity malt character with spicy hops. Very well balanced. ~medium light bodied with medium high CO2, clean spicy hop finish. ~I normally donít like Czech Pils. This is by far my favorite. Would gladly buy and drink again.

Draft tonight, twice at the local with dinner. First one was free since the 2010 mug club mugs finally came in. A nice yellow with hints of haze and a nice fluffy white head. Nose has some grass and grains. Body is lightly hopped but full bodied. Cant go so far as to say it is robust though. An easy session brew. Smooth and clean.

Very cool shaped 12oz bottle poured clear deep gold with copper hues and white head. The aroma is sweet malts, spicy hops, some mild malt graininess and floral hops. The taste is similar with pretty bold spicy hops ringed by thin layers of floral hops, grainy malts and sweet maltiness off in the background. A bit too much on the floral side for my taste.

Loved this beer. Never thought I would like a pilsner but now want to try some from smaller brewers.

Clear gold color with a huge fluffy head poured from the cool little stubby bottle. Aroma is grassy with hay/straw and yeast. Nicely carbonated. Malty, funky barnyard flavor. Crisp finish with lingering hay. This is a pretty good pils from the cool little stubby bottle!
