COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Introducing Redhook Sunrye, a light, refreshing summer beer brewed with six barley malts, including a touch of organic rye. The opalescent golden color of Sunrye is a result of its unfiltered nature. Light and crisp, this brew was made for slaking summer thirsts.

Hmmm almost smells like rice was used, macro-ish. Semi-sweet, wheat, flavor. Ok.

12 oz bottle thanks to ethan for leaving me with this one. Pours a light pissy yellow with a ring of a white head. Nose is very light some malt and citrus but not yet. Flavors of malt citrus maybe some rye ... really not that different than most macro lagers.

Pours deep yellow with notes of citrus and rye on the nose. You get deeper rye notes on the palate and the lengthy finish.

Bottle. Aroma of biscuit and citrus? Very faint. Brassy gold color with essentially no head. Thinnish in body with biting carbonation. The flavor is pale malt/bread, arguably citrus, arguably grassy hop. The finish is almost like having had water. Ok, light and crisp, but not a great deal of flavor. Still, it seems very drinkable. After awhile some bitterness builds in the mouth. For not much of anything, it is something.

Had this one on draught in Rockford, Illinois. Bright, light golden pour with a thick white head, not much nose but a bit malty and bready, not much taste, balanced with hints of grapefruit and lime. Not bad, quaffable but like most golden ales, this one is essentially flavorless.

pissy look and golden aroma... taste golden too, typical entry level blonde, nothing special here, move on

12oz bottle. pale golden color pours with a thin white head. sweet grainy nose. the sweet smell of rye is there. very light grainy flavor is clearly made for summer drinking. the finish has just a touch of grassy hops. mediocre.
