I don’t care for this style, but this beer is not bad. Aroma of hops and yeast. Pour was a clear gold with no real head. Nice heavy carbonation with tiny bubbles that pick at your cheeks. Taste was like a heavily carbonated pilsener. A little hop bite in the end, some yeast and wheat mostly, but a nice lemony taste in the middle. This is a true summer beer, though I probably wouldn’t drink it any other season.

Another excellent blond ale by redhook. I enjoyed the blonde ale in a summer sampler and contrasted it against this one. The tast of the rye gives this beer a better ranking but i like my red hook beers like i like my women Bubbly and Blonde and the brewery doesnt let me down.

Pale golden with a dusty particulate haze under a short, fast-fading cap of white. Lemony nuts and cereal grain in day-old milk, overall malty in the nose with a touch of yeast. Wheat-based flavor with a lemondrop sweet/tartness before slight bitterness in the finish. It’s OK, but I will be seeking out something else to slake my summer thirst.

Corn and honey aroma, moderate strength. Amber color, almost no head. Thin mouthfeel. Virtually flavorless, maybe mulberries. A bit of tinny hops on the palate, but weak. My rating is pretty generous.

Expected a totally different experience. This golden ale is definitely smooth and weak, especially with 6 different malts, no hops presence or aromas, but refreshing if ice cold. Dont expect too much from this....almost a mix between a kolsch and a blonde ale

Sampled at Cellar’s Wine & Spirits Friday evening beer tasting social. Pours a clear light golden blonde brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a white ring. Aroma of light multi-grain malt, dry citrus and some yeast. Flavor is light bodied, lots of carbonation with a dry malt flavor. Finish is clean, crisp with a slight tart rye aftertaste.

Slight corn nose that I was convinced belonged to a pilsner (as did Scluffman). Bland grainy body and a pale gold pour.
