COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Introducing Redhook Sunrye, a light, refreshing summer beer brewed with six barley malts, including a touch of organic rye. The opalescent golden color of Sunrye is a result of its unfiltered nature. Light and crisp, this brew was made for slaking summer thirsts.

Not much to recommend here. Bland pour, bland aroma and bland flavor. Try something else.

Pours a fairly clear, sparkling, golden color with a fairly small, fizzy, white head; longevity is fair with minimal lace. Nose is grainy with light honey with a faint rye note. Flavors are almost identical with a moderately low bitterness. Palate is light, fizzy, and crisp. Finishes somewhat dry and crisp with only a touch of rye left. Actually quite nice as a summer quencher, just a little boring to be much more than that.

Probably one of the best lawnmower beers in glass. Never poured this one, just slipped it into my insulated Spanish Peaks "No Whiners" cozy, and went out to mow the lawn. As lawnmower beers go, this hits the sweet spot. As an added bonus, you can keep it around for all your Bud and Coors Light drinker friends, and they’ll likely actually like it! So, the beer itself is kind of meh, but it does have peripheral value.

Draught Yellow pour with no head. Light aroma of rye and a bit of wheat. Light macrobrew flavor. Somewhat bland, but not bad.

This was light --- too light. Watery, with macro- flavors. Slight wheat and malt flavors to be found if you look for them.

The color was a yellow with almost green hues. The head was thin, white, and fizzy. The aroma was corny and macrobrewed. The flavor was the same, bland and lacking. The palate was thin. The finish was corny and abrupt.

From the bottle pours a pale amber color with little to no head. Kind of a blah nothingness going on with hints of sweetness. No very drinkable in my opinion.

Very pale off-yellow - fizzy with a thin head. Aroma is hard to pin down - slightly sweet, but there is a light rye/sourish hint. Flavor is rather bland - though there is some residual sweetness, a hint of wheat and a crisp dry finish. Not terrible on a hot day, but not much else.
