COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Introducing Redhook Sunrye, a light, refreshing summer beer brewed with six barley malts, including a touch of organic rye. The opalescent golden color of Sunrye is a result of its unfiltered nature. Light and crisp, this brew was made for slaking summer thirsts.

Bottle. Pretty good color but, not much head for this style. To me an odd tasting beer. I won’t seek this one out again.

Draft at Onion Creek. Golden color with tons of bubbles. Some mildy sweet malts with a nice biscut aroma and taste. Pretty darn basic.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2007 Bottle. Golden pour not much head. Kind of bland, but more flavor than a macro. Really, the only thing they got right was the carbonation. Neither offensive nor any distinguishing characteristic. Not much lacing on glass. Aroma was very lacking as well.

Typical bland dry macro beer but a touch of that grainy rye actually detracts from the brew. Nothing special.

On tap at Capital Ale House - Innsbrook. Clear pale golden body with a small off-white head. Sweet honey and light malt aroma. Sweet honey and light grain flavor.

macro body with minimal carbonation whatsoever..aroma is of funky spice and coriander..flavor is the same with a touch of rye...pointless beer

Fun tap handle, interesting because it has rye. Light palate, aroma, anf flavour. The main stay of this beer is the spicey rye and little bit of bitterness.

pours a clear gold with a large creamy white head. lots of lacing. light pale aroma. palate is crisp and refreshing with hints of coriander and maybe just a touch of vanilla. i think this beer accomplished what it set out to do nicely. very enjoyable.
