COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Introducing Redhook Sunrye, a light, refreshing summer beer brewed with six barley malts, including a touch of organic rye. The opalescent golden color of Sunrye is a result of its unfiltered nature. Light and crisp, this brew was made for slaking summer thirsts.

At GBBF 2009. Hazy gold, strawberry flavours. It’s ok, a bit down on flavour, good on strawberry. OK-ish. But just some poorish body.

Clear golden yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is slightly lemony. Grainy, citrus flavor, not much else. Glad it was on sale.

Clear yellow color with very thin white head. Light aroma of grain and fruitiness. Very light bodied with medium carbonation. Tastes of light malts, grains, grapefruit, lemon, orange and other fruit but kind of watery overall.

Gravicask, one-third pint. Slightly unclear golden body. Naked surface. Discreet aroma of lemony hops. Sweet fruit-grainy flavour. Thin and rather unvaried (GBBF, 05.08.2009).

A 12 oz bottle. The pour was a golden body with a swamp like lasting white head on top. The taste is malt, wheat and rye. The carbonation is good.

33 cl bottle, Winnipeg, MB, Canada via Fargo. Hazy pale golden colour, sweet flavor, nice bitterness with some malt and perhaps rye coming through. Pretty forgettable but drinkable nonetheless.
