COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Introducing Redhook Sunrye, a light, refreshing summer beer brewed with six barley malts, including a touch of organic rye. The opalescent golden color of Sunrye is a result of its unfiltered nature. Light and crisp, this brew was made for slaking summer thirsts.

Golden in color, seemingly made to compete with other light summer microbeers, but comes across non-descript. Non-existent head; cloudy haze. Mild aroma that features some citrus notes Very crisp for an ale, reminiscent of a cream ale. Unfortunately, the beer is thin and has a very tame aftertaste. Drinkable if you’re looking to quench your thirst.

Bottle. Pours a pale golden body with a white head. Some caramel malt, hints of rye but more grain and a hint of spices or seeded rye. Thin body simple and eh.

Golden pour. Taste is a mix between a hefeweizen and a summer wheat. Decent.

Bottled 04/29/08. Poured golden with a fizzy white head that settles. Nice aromas of grain and rye. The flavor is a little more subdued grain. Medium body. I imagine this one being a decent thirst quencher on a warm summer day.

Light golden yellow color with a moderate head. Aroma is of rye and slightly wheat-like. Taste is refreshing with a thin body. Rye and slightly bitter in the taste.

12oz bottle. Pours a white head with a golden body. Smells of malt and lemongrass. Tastes of malt but it is crisp with some lemon/citrus. Overall, it makes for a good hot weather session beer that is more preferable to the usual A-B products that are drank in summer.
