Bomber from Liquor Max in Loveland, CO. Orange/copper color with a decent white head. Belgian kandi and spice lie beneath sweetish, somewhat tropical, fruit aromas. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Flavor is typically Belgian. Spice/yeast, hop, kandi and lighter fruit. Heat is not noticeable. It’s smooth and tasty. It drinks way too easy. Not all that sweet for a Belgian anything. A very good ale, but probably not going to duke it out with the big guys.

22oz bottle. Bottle stamped May 21 09. Poured a medium and clear golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of spices, some yeastiness, fruity, burnt sugar, and some alcohol. Tastes of spices, the same fruitiness, candi sugar, and vanilla. Light to medium alcohol in the finish. Overall, not that bad of an American Tripel.

Bottle from Belmont Party. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate yeasty, cough drop and citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium yeast sweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a good drinkable beer.

Pours a transparent deep orange copper with a thin ring of white head. Has a sweet sugary caramel malty nose with a hint of strawberries and alcoholic warmth. Starts with a good malty fullness and a biscuity sugary toffee flavor before a slightly yeasty and warming finish. Could be closer to style and more complex.

Pours amber with a nice white foamy head. Smells of cirsp, dry malt, bananas, cloves, coriander. Tastes dry and spicy with some banana hints, honey, some light fruitiness. Not a Tripel, but unexpected. I enjoyed this.
