Deep golden hued, with subtle hints of vanilla, clove, and cinnamon. Fruity, spicy, and warming with a complex but soft malt character. Editor’s Note: Limited edition summer seasonal for 2009 but pilot batches were available at fests and the brewpub prior to this release.

Rich golden pour, light head. Lots of spice, honey, yeast, vanilla and a wet woody note in the aroma. Flavor is yeasty and fruity. Boring. Lacking effort IMO.

22oz bottle. Bottle stamped May 21 09. Poured a medium and clear golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of spices, some yeastiness, fruity, burnt sugar, and some alcohol. Tastes of spices, the same fruitiness, candi sugar, and vanilla. Light to medium alcohol in the finish. Overall, not that bad of an American Tripel.

Bottle… Pours cloudy and orange with a small, creamy, off-white head. Decent retention. The aroma is an unpleasant mixture of warm brow perspiration and meat broth with a hint of apricot. Full-bodied and lightly oily with tingly carbonation. The flavor is minerally and bland. Finishes warming and a touch bitter. The only saving grace here is that the high abv is neither hot nor unpleasant. Otherwise, Bleh.

Bottle @ home. Not exactly sure how long I’ve had this but it’s surely been over a year. A touch hazy, burnt orange appearance with a white head. Dull citrusy, bready, slightly boozy aroma. Bready, slightly boozy, a touch spicy, a little bitter, lightly citrusy flavor. Not tasting all that great now.

Bubble gum aroma. Medium yellow colour with off-white soapy head. ABove average carbonation. Too much yeast up front and aggressively carbonation. Other than that, drinkable. Candi helped to disguise the high alcohol. Medium mouthfeel overall, some off-sournish in finish. A half pint is a lot.

Bottle from Wegman’s Holidays 2009 rated from notes and I remember this one too. Pours dark straw with 2-finger off-white head. Nose is rock sugary malt, hopcitrus. Tastes rather sweet, with rock malt, heavy hopcitrus. Not well balanced nor complex, this one wasn’t great.

Bottle. Amber beer with an off-white head. Peach and fruity ester aroma with light malt. Malt and honey flavor with fruity esters, light spice and light yeast. Medium bodied. Malt and fruitiness lingers with light spice/light yeast.

Bomber pours deep dull gold - copper with large tan head. The aroma is full of sweet notes like apples, pears, honey and plum puree as well as some spices and a hint of booziness at the end. The taste is pretty soft and smooth with sweet notes of apple, honey, pears and plum juice. It picks up various winter like spices as well as cloves and a faint level of pepper covered peach slices to midway. It gets slightly boozy here and there yet remains soft and smooth into the finish.

22 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a bright clear orange amber color with a small white head. The aroma has a sweet honey, lightly toasted malt, fruity (pears, citrus), and a fairly strong alcohol presence. The flavor has a pale/bready malt base, honey, pears and citrus fruit, a strange bitterness, and too much alcohol. The sweetness and high alcohol don’t mix well. The bitterness seems out of place. Medium-full bodied, but the alcohol is too much in front. Strange. Rating #109 for this beer.
