Extremely good beer. Very heavy coffee malt nose and taste. Minimal carbonation and a clean/bitter finish. Very enjoyable.

really nice with lots of malt licorice and some spicy flavors. Looks good, ruby amber in color but not much head and no lacing. the carbonation is just a tad high and there is some oily aftertaste that is just a note off.

This beer was light brown with a creamy tan head. The beer had aromas of moderate maltiness with caramel and roasted notes. The beer had an initial sweetness that was quickly followed by a dry itterness. The carbonation was light and the bdy medium.

Bottle. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aroma was full of roasted malts, but a little weak over all. Flavor was a bit weak as well with roasted malts and a bit of alcohol.

12 ounce bottle from a sampler. Pours a hazy dark rusty red color with a medium head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, fruity notes, a bit of chocolate and bitter, peppery hops. Taste is caramel, cinnamon, bitter leafy hops. Medium bodied.

Clear and dark brown in the glass, with a fully diminishing head. Nutty aromas, like honey cashew. Toast. Peach jam. More complex than I expected, but a thin palate. Toasted flavors, nutty, and a one-dimensional hop that adds a little pine and citrus, but not much.
