Bottle. The pour was a clear copper brown with a huge (3-4 finger) off white rocky head that had great retention, finally reducing to a large foamy cap and had some fair spotty lacing. The aroma was of toasted caramel malts, spruce hops and a doughy yeast with notes of citrus (orange), toffee and dark fruit (plums and raisins). The taste was moderately sweet and had a nice malty feel with hints of toffee and citrus at first and then became mildly hoppy with a note of dark fruit and a slight bitter finish. The flavor lasted only a short while with the fruity hoppy taste fading relatively quick. Mouthfeel was light to medium in body and mildly dry in texture with a soft carbonation. Overall a decent Winter Warmer that was very drinkable, although it is nothing over the top...

Clear brown color with a thick head – light lacing. The aroma is mostly of malt with a slight touch of hops. The taste is spicy and hoppy with a nice malt background. The mouthfeel is full.

Copper pour thin head at redhook. Crisp clean hoppy and bready with a nice finish. One of the best at the brewery.

6 pack picked up at the local beer place. Pours a lovely tan color into the pint glass. Capped by a small off white head with good retention. Clear with good bubbling carbonation. Nose is sweet with malt, caramel, orange zest. Taste adds grassy and floral notes, toffee. Light tannin. Leans to the sweet side this one does, but not cloying. Medium bodied, alcohol is slightly warming. Enjoyable. Rated via BeerBuddy

Bottle. Colour... basic amber with a moderately frothy head. Nose... generally roasty and somewhat nutty with hints of hops. Palate... more of that basic roastiness with caramel and some hop notes followed by a somewhat dry finish. Not what Iíd call a "strong ale". This one seems more like an autumnal session beer.

Copper-amber pour into thick beige head that dissipates into sticky lacing that slowly melts into a swirling pool of foamy bubbles. Aroma of malty biscuit, grassy hop, and lemony citrus. Initial flavor of malty citrus that quickly fades into a bitter spruce finish.

12oz stubby shaped bottle. Pours amber red with a white head. Taste is primarily caremal malt with just slight a hoppiness. Iím trying to taste the spices but canít find them. Overall nothing great but quite drinkable.
