Not bad, dark brown colour with malt nose. Pleasant taste although not really worth going back again.

Bottle courtesy of beastiefan2k pours deep amber with thin white head. Aroma is upfront malt similar to a scotch ale. First tast is sweet malt then a nice resinous hops presence. Finish is malt. Pretty nice.

Bottle at some weird youtube art exhibition. Aroma is roasty and sweet without much of a malt presence. Spicy caramel malt taste.

Pours a very dark brown with a small head. Smells hoppy and malty. Taste is of malts, dark fruits, and a nice floral hop finish.

(Bottle). Pours a dark brownish red color, with a light tan head. Has a malt aroma, and has a sweet malty taste. Finish is slightly bitter, and carbonation is very soft.

This poured a red to brown with fat white head. Nose of caramel malts and some spices. Medium mouthfeel, but smooth. Flavor is malty with floral hops. Slight bitterness in the finish.

Winter ales usually aren’t my favorite. This one was probably the best of the winter ales I’ve had but I still didn’t care too much for it.

12-9-08. 12 oz. bottle. Poured amber-brown with a nice fluufy off white head. Smells of malt, molasses, and spices. Tasted malty, caramely, creamy, and hints of some dark fruit, sugar, and cinnamin. Some pine in the finish. Aftertaste is smooth and sweet. Good stuff.
