A rich, hearty ale brewed for a clean, dry, roasty palate.

I can barely remember this one, not because I was drunk but because its so unmemorable. Nothing overly offensive, but in general just kinda blahhhh.

Bottle. Off-white head, dark amber body. Light aroma is malty with toasted grain and caramel. Hint, and just a hint, of hops. The flavor is moderately sweet, very lightly bitter and turns a little more bitter in the finish. Medium body and watery texture. Lively carbonation. OK, but nothing special.

Clovy aroma. Reddish copper color with a thin head and good lacing. Floral marigold flavor. Nice ingredients but too bitter and floral for my taste.

Dec. 2007 - Beer pours a honey brown color, clear with really nice head and excellent lacing all over the glass. Weak aroma of nuts and cardboard. The flavor was a nice blend of nuts, caramel and other englishy malts. Some mild bitterness nicely balances out the sweetness from the malts. Not real rich and robust, but it’s a nice sipping brew. I liked it.

Pours clear amber color with a moderate off white head. Has a strong floral aroma with a mild fruit presence of peaches and apricots. Flavor is bitter with a bit of a pine taste, very dry.

Pours a bockish colour with some retaining head. Mild malt and spice aroma. Middling mouthfeel. A bit better than average beer.

Good beer. Smooth and refreshing. A little more heavy tasting than many other ales, which I kind of expected. Hints of caramel, pine, and a mild hoppy flavor.

Surpisingly thin and weak for a six percent beer. All malt flavor, nothing stands out. Light sweetness in the taste and finish. Easily drinkable. Light caramel flavor like an amber ale.
