3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Hazy orange body, thin head...fast rising carbonation bubbles. The aroma isn’t that impressive, not much going on. The ginger is pleasantly mild, and sort of works with the yeasty wheat tones. A pretty decent idea, flavor meld...but the final product is a little muted, too tame for its own good. Not bad per se, just a little boring.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
8/15/13. Bottle given to me from Troy. Yup...it's a wit beer. Hazy golden color. If I didn't know there was ginger in here, I wouldn't have known. Every typical wit profile is there but on the small side of everything.
It's the 1st of the 4 red hook beers Troy gave me, bottle shape is the neatest part of this one.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Typical wit with a golden color and a short-lived white head. Smells a bit like a sweet, fruity breakfast cereal. Like an orange flavored breakfast danish, grain, fruit a hint of yeast & spice. Has a light body with fizzy carbonation. Middle of the road Wit.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Meh...a rather boring and bland beer, but not undrinkable. If it would ever get hot this summer it would be a good porch beer. Aroma was OK. Vanilla, coriander and other spices are there, very subtle. Pour was a nice hazy light orange with some sediment and a thin off white film for a head. Taste was pretty weak. The pronounced spiciness of a classic wit isn’t there. The flavors are all distant with just a hint of ginger if you search for it. Ginger in a witbier is an interesting combination, but this beer didn’t nail it. Mild carbonation

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours hazy yellow orange with a quick soapy white head that dissipates to a collar and random spot in the middle of the glass. Aroma is yeast spice and lemon/orange peel some random coriander. Taste is bitter citrus bready and yeast with a malty finish and spice. Palate is medium gritty and dry. Kinda dig this one.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours light orange with hardly any visual carbonation and a thin head that quickly disappears. Sweet malt and peach aroma. Watery bland taste with a little noticeable spicy ginger. Clean dry finish. Needs a little more carbonation and more wheat malt for head retention. Not all that bad but a brewery of this size can do better.
