COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Redhook’s twist on the Belgian style is the addition of fresh ginger, which adds a refreshing snappiness to this lighter-bodied wheat beer. Redhook Wit is perfect for warm summer months of outdoor BBQ-ing, sitting by the pool, or just taking a break by hanging inside enjoying the AC and watching old re-runs of Gilligan’s Island.

"Made with ginger but still digs Mary Ann."

Formerly ’Redhook Wit’

HighlanderOne (994) - Bergen County, New Jersey, USA - JUL 1, 2012
Poured from bottle. Smells like orange juice and pancakes. Orange amber with absolutely no head. I taste the wheat and ginger, as well as orange soda notes with maybe a spice or two. I also see that this beer is over a year old. Gotta give this a low rating, will try a fresher sample in future.

12oz bottle 6/23/12 (Trader Joe’s Naperville)-48° in Shaker-Pours a cloudy orangish amber with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, citrus, and hay. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew is a bit disappointing from Redhook but I wasn’t expecting much either.

Taste is sweet malt, toasted wheat, ginger, candied fruit and soft spice. Body is light-medium with a soft, creamy carbonation. Ends with more ginger notes, hints of honey, candied fruit, light spice, sweet malt, flowers and wheat.
