3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Have on tap at the brewhouse. (way more bland bottled). Golden amber, fast disappearing head, no lacing. Strong aroma of citrus hop. Sweet flavour with less bitterness than I expected. Actually tastes of hop! A beer I like.

This is a terrible beer. I don't know if I bought a bad batch but the bottled 6 pack was so over carbonated that you lost half the bottle when you opened and anything poured into a glass became frothy head. It was pale, tasted of fizz and was weak.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
From a 330ml bottle on 12/4/2012. Pours a fairly clear light golden with a small head. Has a light fruity, slightly yeasty aroma. The flavour is quite sweet, with quite a bit of fruit, particularly apple. There’s also some bready malt, a very modest hop presence, and some slight vinous notes at the back. The palate is a bit watery. Overall, somewhat disappointing and lacking in character.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tried this one back in 2008.
Chilled and into a flute. Bursts out the bottle to release one huge mother f---er of a pillowy white head that’s well fuelled by the furious effervescence below. The beer a sunny shade of gold and misted by fine yeast. Soft note of eucalypt and honey and even softer hint of pine needles - too soft, it might just have been my imagination. A bit rough in the mouth. Carbonation bites in, as does a wad of leafy, drabby herbs that dominate the palate. Oddly subdued for bitterness, it tastes remarkebly like Italian parsley which in big doses isn’t good at all. No sweetness, some dull bread-like flavour mid-palate, otherwise it’s just a watery herbal mess. Its saving grace is it ends short and crisp. Unexpectedly unexpected!
