axilla (941), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 23, 2008 Courtesy of weare138. Poured a clean ruby/purple color body with some lacing. Smelled like a berry scented garbage bag...really.The flavor wasn’t too far off from the nose with some blackberries and honey also present.
Suds_McDuff (976), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston,TX, Texas, USA Jun 30, 2008 $14 at Spec’s.... Rich ruby red colour ... berry + fruit with light alcohol in the nose .. very smooth but aftertaste is quite as slick .. is very drinkable ..an interesting spin on mead, but maybe mediocre.. enjoyable but not really worth the cost, but happy i tried it... thehurt01 (128), Denver, Colorado, USA May 17, 2008 I recived a bottle of this and it is wicked good. The mead pours a reddish body with a pink fizzy head. the smell of rasberries. The taste is just like the smell and sweet. Hi carbonation but just plain good. Keep in mind the style when you try it! jobyone (234), Charlotte, USA Mar 18, 2008 Draft. Pours a reddish color with a pink head. The Aroam is pure sweet with lots of fruit. The taste is sweet. Almost like a syrup. If you like sweet fruity beers you will like this. If not look elsewhere. bdigi66 (408), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 2, 2008 Bottle: Courtesy of thedm and hotstuff. This was much different than any other mead I’ve had. It was much more berry-oriented rather than the honey. Somewhat floral as well. Dry, quite carbonated and finishes with a sweet and tart blackberry honey taste. Good, yet different. It poured a beautiful light pink color. cbkschubert (1520), Skyline, Arizona, USA Feb 26, 2008 Draft@the AZ Strong Beer Fest - Pours a copper color with a purplish hue. This guy was thick, sweet, and fruity. Not quite my cup of beer, but glad to have tried it.
