Well, this one at least has the initial intensity in aroma and flavor of a traditional mead. It has a bit clingy finish to it but overall is pretty decent.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 onceblind (2532) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 7, 2011
Clear bright yellow. Aroma of clove honey, nice herbal juniper, and a touch of pine. Pine hits first on the palate with a nice pungent honey flavor on a off sweet tone. Turns dry and boozy and big, mellowing out into a more juniper berry middle and warm finish. Lovely!

Light, wine like aroma, fruity. Cloudy, yellow appearance. The prominent taste is the honey. Slight fruit taste comes out in the aftertaste. Not too fizzy. Quite tasty, worth checking out.
