Bottle at Oldsmar Tap House. Looks like white grape juice. Aroma is white grapes, hops, and citrus fruits. Flavor is white grapes, other fruits, and honey. Medium bodied with good amount of carbonation. Not bad at all.

This was really interesting and I think I kind of liked it. Looks like off-colored water from a place where you "donít drink the tap water." Not incredibly appealing, but at least its mead and not beer. Tastes like a lighter mead with some fresh hops. Diane Byrne noted: lychee and Big League Chew. Fo real.

Boulder Strong Fest. Draught. Very light yellow...I saw someone else drinking it and I thought they were drinking water. Aroma is light resin, lemon, and obviously honey. Flavor is sweet and acidic. Watery and weird

Location: Tap at Rattle íN Hum, 4/17/10

Aroma: The aroma is sweet, with some fruity, some honey, and some resiny hop notes
Appearance: Pours a clear apple juice body with minimal head
Flavor: The taste is pretty sweet as well, with a slight hop presence for some balance
Palate: The carbonation is fizzy, and the body is light and refreshing
Overall Impression: This stuff was pretty interesting. Certainly a crisp and refreshing drink, though not my favorite style in the world, I do enjoy one of these every now and again.

On tap at Pap. Golden pour with no head. Honey, alcohol and piney hops in the aroma and flavor. There are elements in this that were never meant to be put together. Kinda not good.

Pours a yellowish color. Aroma of some hop, light honey as well as grapefruit. Flavor is the same as aroma and kinda nasty. Mouth feel is watery and lightly carbonated. Overall, Iím thinking hopís do not belong in a mead. Just my opinion.

Bottle at Rattle n Hum shared by Alex of SKI: I was drinking different beers and rated this from memory. Light golden pour. Sweet and herbal aroma, a bit buttery and biscuity- mild chamomile notes peak through. Light spritzy body. Softly sweet flavor. Honeyish, and herbal but quite buttery, especially on the back. Sub par and macro-ish.

on tap 11/18/2009 at papago. pours a slightly yellow shade of clear. no head but it does leave some severe legging. it smells like flowers... not hops so much, just a straight bouquet. after the initial aroma shock, there are notes of perfume, faint resin, floral hops, mild honey and lots of harsh booze. if the smell of industrial floor cleaner could be translated into a flavor this would be it... the taste is quite similar to the aroma including honey, harsh and a slight tartness. iím not sure where this is supposed to go... it is just odd, sticky and confusing. ick. 5/3/4/2/10/2.4

Now hereís a rare and interesting critter. Pretty much a clean-but-standard semi-sweet mead with a hoppy, fruity twist. There is a smidge of hop presence in the nose, and even less bitterness (though it is there). The overall effect is hard to quantify, but refreshing to figure out. My palette chases this all over the place. I really, really like it, though.
