3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at Spuyten Duyvil, New York
Blond color; rare small foam crown. The aroma is interesting, flowery (orange blossom) and nutty (almonds). Itís lightly carbonated, not much sweet, with some apple flavor and not much honey. Also the bitterness and hopping are difficult to perceive. And the final reminds me carbonated apple juice. Not totally bad, but strange; it confirms that Redstone is not a top meadery.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
On tap at the Stone 17th anniversary festival. Clear, pale golden. Tooth paste and some flower honey in the aroma, not much else. Some tooth paste in the flavor too. Some warmth in the mouth, flat. Well, not impressive in any way, but drinkable. 130817

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle in Minneapolis. Very, very light yellow, transparent appearance with a good amount of carbonation. Sweet honey nose with light hops. Sweet, light fruity, light apricot vinous flavor with light hops. Quite tasty and the hops are interesting but donít add all that much to it.

Golden delicious apple aroma. A fight between hops and honey...and the loser is...whoever drinks it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
BottleÖ Pours pale yellow with effervescence and an immediately dissipating, fizzy, white head. The aroma is an odd blend of honey, vanilla and herbs that hint at wood stain or clear wood finish. Medium-bodied with a syrupy/oily mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Sweet, for the most part, but also very mildly acidic. Lengthy, crisp, sweet (but not overly so) finish. An odd bird, this one, but I have no real gripes. Very braggot-like, but better than most examples of a very strange style. Thanks go out to TheCheeseMan and redlight for the glassful!
