Tap at the bottle shop. Pale yellow pour, nose is honey, sweet, hops, and florals. Smooth on the palate, honey, light hops, and a sweet finish.

Wow. The first mead Iíve ever had that smells of hops. Also the lightest alcohol mead for me as well. A very thin finish. Donít get much hops or any really in the flavor.

On tap at 2011 Garden Grapes and Hops at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Clear light yellow, with a smell of strong honey sugar, and some outstanding flowery, resinous hop aromas. The flavor brought sweet honey tones to greet a lemony, sweet hop tone. Slight acidity, like candied lemon juice. Quite tasty and unique!

Autumn Brew Review, 2013. Clear color. Fairly dry, just a little sweetness. Mild hops in the aroma and more in the flavor.

The aroma is sweet and a tiny bit plasticky and fruity with the requisite amount of honey. The appearance is pale gold with plenty of bubbles. The taste is like the aroma and quite sweet. The palate is thin but right for a carbonated mead. Overall this is a little disappointing.

Surprised at the low scores. I found this really nice and refreshing. The dry hopping gave it a really nice finish and solid flavor.

Location: Tap at Rattle íN Hum, 4/17/10

Aroma: The aroma is sweet, with some fruity, some honey, and some resiny hop notes
Appearance: Pours a clear apple juice body with minimal head
Flavor: The taste is pretty sweet as well, with a slight hop presence for some balance
Palate: The carbonation is fizzy, and the body is light and refreshing
Overall Impression: This stuff was pretty interesting. Certainly a crisp and refreshing drink, though not my favorite style in the world, I do enjoy one of these every now and again.

Interesting aroma of stale grassy noble hops, hay, and of course honey. Very pale yellow, clear and still. Dry and light flavor initially, but the flavor of clover and honey , still dry, appears and gathers steam to a climactic finish. Soft carbonation. The intensity never gets there for me although the flavor is nice for a drier mead.

This was really interesting and I think I kind of liked it. Looks like off-colored water from a place where you "donít drink the tap water." Not incredibly appealing, but at least its mead and not beer. Tastes like a lighter mead with some fresh hops. Diane Byrne noted: lychee and Big League Chew. Fo real.
