On tap @ Redstone. Pale yellow pour. Aromas of lemon, orange, and honey. Fairly dry, a bit floral, maybe some grass. Flavor is quite dry. Lemon, orange, and some honey. Floral honey and hop aromas. Grassy finish. Lightly fruity.

Autumn Brew Review, 2013. Clear color. Fairly dry, just a little sweetness. Mild hops in the aroma and more in the flavor.

Pour from a 500 mL can. Light yellow in color, sparkling in a nice way. Sweet, lots of honey and a nice bit of hops at the end. Not bad, but I donít want to drink a ton of this.

Kinda surprised by the low score. This is actually quite nice and refreshing. Not overly honey on the aromas and flavors. Nice sweet citrusy smell and light on the palate. The carbonation is a good touch. Overall I found it very good.

GABF 2009. Very interesting - a hopped mead. Clear golden yellow color with a fairly fizzy white head. Aroma is honey, spice, and citrusy hops. Flavor is more of the same with citrusy hops and some light fruits. Palate is medium-light and carbonation is fairly high. Pretty good overall.

Blond color; rare small foam crown. The aroma is interesting, flowery (orange blossom) and nutty (almonds). Itís lightly carbonated, not much sweet, with some apple flavor and not much honey. Also the bitterness and hopping are difficult to perceive. And the final reminds me carbonated apple juice. Not totally bad, but strange; it confirms that Redstone is not a top meadery.

Not sure about the whole carbonated mead thing, it almost tastes like soda. That being said, itís pretty good. Thinner and lighter on the palate than Iím used to for mead, but certainly drinkable nonetheless.

Sample at GABF 10/11/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. This Mead is a clear pale yellow-orange color and decent legs. Aroma of citrus and honey. Medium body with flavors of fruit, sweet honey and subtle hops. The finish is fruity and sweet. Slightly above average overall.

sampled on tap at the San Diego Strong Ale Festival Nov 2008, an event shared with what seemed liked hundreds of ratebeerians and enjoyed mostly through a straw, since my face was a bloody mess of scabs and stitches. very light in color with a honey sweet nose. taste is very sweet citrus with some hops, but only a little. after a day of imperial stouts, BW and IIPA this was quite refreshing, but not spectactular.
