Poured on draft. Pours a very pale, fizzy yellow. It actually looks a lot like sprite. The aroma is very sweet apricot. Tastes like a sweet, peachy, sprite. It’s actually pretty good, despite the low ratings. I would have this again.

Bottle. Pours a very clear light yellow color with a small head. Nose is sweet and slight. Taste is slightly sweet, but not much to it. Meh.

Great American Beer Festival 2012. Nearly clear, fine for a mead. Honey aroma and sweet flavor with apricot, but the honey is more pronounced. Some yeast in the finish.

Apparence: La couleur est paille. Saveur: Goût de miel avec une pointe d’apricots. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement vineuse. Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Pours a crystal clear pale yellow color with no head and slight legs. Floral aroma with touches of cinnamon. Medium body with flavors of sweet spices and honey. The finish is sweet with a short fruit aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Clear pear color, no head. Dry apple scent. Dry, honey, apple taste. Dry metallic aftertaste. Spritzy mouthfeel, dry finish.

Pours pale yellow with a lot of bubbles. Taste and aroma is of apricots, honey and grapes, a little bit sweet. Drinkable. Can be a substitute for Champaign.

A pale yellow mead with no head. In aroma, sweet fruity honey wit apple and apricots. In mouth, a smooth light menthol, honey, minty apricots, nice and smooth. Bottle at Mondial 2012, June 10 2012.

A bad rap for a decent mead. This one has a dry tang to it that I think makes a decent complete package. Give it a shot, it’s far from terrible.
