COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Style: Traditional
Traditional meads celebrate pure honey. This mead has no fruit, herbs, or spices added.
Ingredients Include: Colorado Water, Orange Blossom Honey, Wildflower Honey, Montrachet Yeast, and The Love!
Process: In order to preserve the delicate honey flavor, we pasteurize rather than boil.
Swing Top: Our resealable bottle preserves the quality of the mead more effectively than recorking a bottle. Reuse or recycle.
Serving Temperature: We suggest serving slightly chilled. However, feel free to excperiment as different nuances are revealed at different temperatures. Unfiltered, may contain sediment.

Pour out of bottle is nice orange, aroma has nice big citrusy honey, hints of vanilla, slight caramel even. Taste is a nice floral and citrusy honey slight booze but balances the sweetness fairly well, this is nicely made.

Aroma is wonderful rich honey + oranges. Very fresh honey aroma permeates. Pours crystal clear. Pale gold. Once it warms, honey strands appear. Taste is clearly honey. Right down to those sharp, back of the tongue characteristics. Orange prescence on initial blush, that mutates to honey mineral finish. Slight heat from alcohol. Finish is long and lingering.

Strong honey aroma and flavor. Orange flavor also presents itself, more than I really expected. Good chilled or at room temperature. Have not tried warm, yet.

Clear light golden color. Nice honey, sweet glazed brown sugar, melon, flower floral aromas. Sweet pale filtered honey, melon, flower flavors, not too boozy--decent

Clear yellow, with an aroma of sweet organic honey, with that waxy earthy "real" honey vibe. Taste was the same, but with a slight citrus tone on the back end. Otherwise it was what I dreamed of in a "honey wine" Lots of sweetness, lots of honey, nice and organic and earthy and delicious.

Had this at the 2011 mid summer morning mead tasting at Vintage, nice place, y’know? Very clear. Like cider. Barely any yellow at all. Faint aroma of flowers. First taste says it is very low in alky, even watered down but I see the alky is high and it must hide it well. Easy going and mild on the tongue, even enjoyable. Goes down easy for a mead. Some plastic band-aid in the finsh, just barely.

Sampled from bottle. Poured a golden straw color. Aroma is a bit boozy, honey, touch of apple tartness. Flavor is slightly sweet, with a touch of what I suppose was a bit woody.

This is my first mead ever, and it’s really tasty. Aroma is honey, apricot, and maybe some hints of vanilla. Color is a pale gold. Taste is butterscotch, big apricot and hint of alcohol. Palate is very clean. Would like to try more meads.

Bottle pour at Blind Tiger NYC. Pours a pale amber. Nose is quite fruity and vinous. Still. Light honey note as well. Very balanced on the taste with honey, apricot, pear coming through. A light alcohol note as well. Sweet and acidic. Very nice.

Honey. Clear. Mead as mead is. How many descriptives are there for a mead? It has honey; it was made with yeast.
