Bottle. Pours extremely lively, the head settles and stays a little fluffy white sticky covering. Smells of dolly mixtures, pineapple, grapefruit juice and resinous hops. Sweet up front and an amazing smoothness to it. Packed full of tropical fruits as it rolls over your tongue, pineapple, mango, mandarin, then the creeping bitter squeeze at the back which keeps on kicking all the while with that sweet malt backbone there balancing it out. Immensely impressed with this small brewery, my first encounter and wishing I’d swiped the whole range from the shop when I got this. Dubbed the Northern Kernel? Can see why

Bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, orange, some resin and floral hops. Taste of grapefruit, orange, resin, some caramel, lemon, pineapple and floral hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A sweetish, tropical fruit bitterness in the finish. This is a cracking IPA, so drinkable and tasty. Lots of fruit flavour and hoppy bitterness. Redwillow haven’t disappointed yet.
