Quite hazy copper colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and soap. Some fruit flavours, slightly watery middle before the hops come through. Light mulled spice flavours. Moderate to high carbonation. Moderate bitter finish. Light bodied, could perhaps do with a little more body for me as it felt a little watery, but I suppose that?s to be expected at 3.9%. Certainly enjoyable.

McWorta (591) - LUXEMBOURG - MAR 31, 2014
Bold golden coloured beer with some orange reflexions. Light dark white small head. On the nose aromas of pine, wood, light earth and resin notes arise. A very soft and short fizz is offered on the palate with a mild texture and a rather light body. The finish is lightly bitter and somewhat short.

Bottle. It’s a hazy, golden-orange colored beer topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma has some orange notes and generic citrus, with a touch of pale malts. The flavor has a faint bitterness, some orange and citrus, and with a touch of pale malts in the back. It’s full-bodied and quite effervescent on the palate. Semi-sweet. Medium length finish with some bitterness and citrus peel. Not bad this one, just boring. 140228

Cask @ Pie & Ale, Manchester. Had this with a zebra pie, (not much zebra mind) and went down a treat. A pleasant enough ale, a touch on the sweet side with a nice bitterness on the finish. Did the job nicely.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a small head and a full blonde ale fruitiness, maybe a touch dry with slips down the palate with ease.

Fruity, malty taste with notes of peaches, biscuits, citrus and a certain citric/floral bitterness in the finish. Light body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty and highly drinkable. Quite nice.
