COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewer’s blog: "New beer brewed today, Wreckless, a very hoppy / aromatic 4.8% Pale, loaded with Citra and Amarillo hops, looking forward to this one, should be lovely. Think it is time to start brewing at full length rather than the 50% I’ve been running at until now. Update : Just had a quick taste of Wreckless, massive amounts of citra and amarillo tropical fruits coming through, very pleased so far."

Bottle at home in London. Pours clear gold with a massive, frothy white head. Some tangy, lightly dried citrus in the nose. Light sweet flavor with pale, vaguely doughy malts, a bit of tangerine. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly drying to finish, with some pine needles, mellow tangerine, mango. A tasty APA, though the hops don’t quite sing enough for me.

Bottle from drinkstore. Pours cloudy orange with white head. Nose is citrus, pine, peach, earth, hay. Flavour is sweet malts, resinous, orange with lemon pithy bitterness on finish. Bitterness lessens as it warms. Gets sticky sweet. Body is light and carbonation is medium. A bit watery. Nice enough.

Recenzja z 15.01.2014. Kolor ciemnozloty, lekkie jednolite zmetnienie. Piana wysoka, powoli opada, zostawia gruba obraczke i mocno oblepia szklo. W zapachu srednio intensywny amerykanski chmiel, slodkie owoce, lekka multiwitamina, lekka nuta typowo nowozelandzka, winogronowa i agrestowa, lekki ananas. W smaku wytrawne, niestety mocno wodniste, lekko kwaskowate. Goryczka niska, aromaty jak w zapachu, lekko lodygowa i sciagajaca. Wysycenie niskie.

Bottle from the Red Squirrel Chesham Brewery Shop. Was slightly outside of the best before date. Poured a clear, light amber with a halo of white head. Fruity aroma, with notes of peach, grapefruit, hay and honey. Initial flavours of apricot, citrus and crusty bread. Finish was grain, crystal malt and straw.
