COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of a Belgian classic! Auburn in color with reddish undertones, biscuity, banana bread and dried fruit aromas. A firm body, with a sweet malt and browned sugar flavors with a warm mouthfeel. Brewed with Gambrinus Pilsner and Munich malt, Imported Biscuit, Caramel and Black malt, Perle and UK Goldings, Styrian Goldings hops, and with our proprietary Belgian Ale yeast strain. 8.6% ABV Original Gravity 17.80 IBU 25.

On draft at The Local Beer Bar in Eureka, CA. This came in the glass a rich dark brown with red around the edges, with a good sized tan head and thick lacing. Nose of ripe fruit. Medium plus body with a smooth creamy mouthfeel. The flavors are sweet and malty and the finish is long and sweet with a lightly bitter aftertaste. A solid version of the style, and as it warmed became very nice drinking.
