COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This double IPA was specially crafted for our 2nd Year Anniversary Party. Honey amber in color with a frothy head, resinous aromas of pine and citrus, rolls sweet on the approach, big aggressive hop mid palate, smoothed out with a sweet-bitter finishing touch. Brewed with Gambrinus Pilsner and Castle Caramel malt, 100% Galaxy Hops with our proprietary English yeast strain. 8.5% ABV Original Gravity 18.50 IBU 70

On tap, amber honey color with white suds, smells like walking into a pine forest, a jolting bitter hop flavor of pinecones with a dry finish, [I also got to try it tripple hopped in a hop shot version]

A 12 oz glass at the tasting room at the Redwood Curtain Brewery in Arcata, CA. The was an amber-orange color with a foamy white head. Nose is citrus and pine hops. Body is medium with a sticky resinous mouthfeel. Alcohol well hidden. The flavor is rich and loaded with hop flavors and some ripe stone fruit. The finish is dry and bitter but not overly so. A really delicious beer from first sip to last drop.
