Bottle. Pours a clear amber colour. Sweet toasty caramel malty aroma. Sticky oily mothfeel. The flavour is quite sweet with well toasted caramel and malt, alcohol and some fruitish hoppiness.

Beer4000 (4987) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 25, 2007
330ml bottle. Clear golden body with a white head. Aroma is a bit acidulous, maybe infected? Flavor is also a bit sour and thin malty. Not a harmonic beer for my taste. My guess is that something is wrong with this bottle, at least this has nothing to do with a barley wine. Have to try this again another time.

PetetheMeat (621) - Hove, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2006
Beige, lasting head. Amber ale. Very rich malty sweet aroma. More malty sweetness in the flavour. Notes of roasted malt. Sherry too? Sugarsticky palate. Hides the ABV very well. Soft carbonation. Overall, special but very nice, if you like sweet ale... ;.)

JensenTaster (1719) - DENMARK - AUG 2, 2006
(on bottle) Amber volor, beige head. Ones gotta drink this cold, ´cause it´s real sweet. Luckily it has just about the carbonation to lavel that out, but only just about. Smal catch of bitterhops in finish, makes it an OK beer. Cheap axx barley wine for dure.
