3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 malbert (105) - odense, DENMARK - MAY 2, 2002
A very summerly and fresh beer with a taste of sun and flowers.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 NosirIwont (1721) - Aalborg Vestby, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2004
Bottle. Amber coloured - pretty nice, but the head (white) disappears quick. Nice round malty aroma, but not so ambitious - could be a bit more powerful. Light acidic taste, but not so sharp - nicely rounded. A bit fruity and sweet. Also a nice rounded palate - the carbonacid isn’t so insisting.
3.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 LoveCaissa (873) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 21, 2002
Uninteresting aroma. Beautiful golden colour, but virtually no head. The flavour is unique and (imho) very hard to describe (possibly because of a special yeast). Still, it tastes very nice and smooth. Notice the overall impression of 16 - the average rating isn’t really fair for this beer. For some reason I just cannot seem to get enough of this wonderful easter brew! :o)
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 PetetheMeat (621) - Hove, DENMARK - APR 14, 2004
Amber coloured, a bit hazy, the usual small refsvindinge head. Malty sweet flavour with (a bit more than usual for Refsvindinge?) hops. Fruit, and a bit sourness in the finish. Overall very comforting easter beer.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 13, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Fully golden without much head. Pretty low in carbonation also which is typically Refsvindinge. Also typical Refsvindinge house character with the lightly sourish and fruity notes. Very different easter brew, but very nice. 160402
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Jeppe (2631) - Ølbutikken, DENMARK - APR 3, 2004
Light amber color with off-white head. Somewhat sour aroma of malt and brewing cereal. Also some sourness in the flavor. Vinous and fruity. A different but OK beer!
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 BeerBiker (1412) - Odense, DENMARK - JAN 18, 2008
[Sampled in 2004.] According to John this beer should be an ale using top yeast. It’s also one of the better ones from eastern Funen. Soft and almost without carbonation and a nice amber look combined with notes as caramel, freshness, flowers, fruits makes it an ale brew.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 charlotte (3657) - rødovre, DENMARK - MAR 2, 2007
Copper colour light head taste of malt a bit thin also some taste of hops metallic with smal bubbels.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 MiP (12136) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 27, 2004
Bottle. Light brown, slightly cloudy. Malty and acidic.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ungstrup (26194) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 14, 2003
A light amber beer with no head. The aroma is great with notes of orange, malt, and brewmash. The flavor is disappointing compared with the aroma - it is prickling sweet with notes brewmash and malt. It is both sweet and bitter which makes a great balance. And the bitterness lingers.
