(Keg at the brewpub, 20130513) The beer poured golden and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had clove, banana and fruitiness. Palate was quite light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were banana, clove, fruitiness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and mildly bitter. A good tasting but watery hefeweizen.

On tap at the brewpub in Regensburg, Germany. Pours a hazy gold with a low foamy white head. Aroma is sour mash, bananas, esters and lots of cloves. Taste is creamy cloves and the cloves come in mass. Palate is wonderful smooth Intense clove flavor throughout.

Tap at the Weissbrauhaus, Regensburg - 25/11/11. Cloudy yellow/orange with a medium off-white head. Malts, grain, banana and spice in both aroma and taste. Medium body, smooth finish.

Cloudy yellow orange beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: ripe banana, bit spicy, sweet, some grains, bit of hospital (disinfectant?). MF: good carbon, light to medium body. Taste: quite some banana, dough, touch of citrus, bit sweet. Aftertaste: ripe banana, little bitter, hint of citrus, faint ending.

on tap at the brewpub in regensburg. sub-par as with this brewery’s other efforts - simple sherbet aroma; only faintly hazy golden with an apathetic head; quite thin for a weizen with minimal porridge character and a bit of tart lemon lurking. drinkable but uninspiring

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy yellow orange coloured, small white head, light yeasty and banana nose. Moderate malty, yeasty and banana with notes of spices near the end. Pretty ordinary weizen.

Tap. Peach, banana, and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy amber color with small head. Sweet peach, lemon, and light wheat malt flavor. Very nice flavor but pretty light.

Hazy - murky medium to dark orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grass, moderate yeasty, banana, chlorine notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. To much yeast and banana in the flavor IMO. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20090703]

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy golden, creamy hed. Aroma of perfumy overripe banana. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied with butter, wheat and banana as well as light lemon. Dense and sweet, which heavily reduces the thirst quenching qualities.

Hazy yellow-orange. Apple aroma with light banana and yeast. Almost fresh-tasting. Light wateriness helps it go down. Light wheat, acidity, hints of banana and marshmallow.
