2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
very clear tan body with a medium thick head with quite big bubbles. There is a very wheaty aroma to it with some sort of a floral aroma that I cant place. The flavor is a quite sweet malty flavor and a huge sugary flavor.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a light pale with a fizzy white head. Lightly sweet aroma of corn and straw. Flavor is basically the same. Watery palate and finish. Just OK.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Very pale yellow with large foamy white head. Aroma of weak, grainy malt. Flavor watery and grassy and a little skunky. I’d take a Corona over this any day.

Pale golden color. Light body, corn notes. Typical Latin lager. Undistinguishable in many ways.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2007 946ml brown bottle. Pours a quite pale shade of yellow. Holds a small white cap. Aroma is sweet, corny with light floral and grass elements. Light flavour profile, some notes of sweet corn, grass and grain. Quick finish. Body is light and fizzy. Drinkable, but not exciting by any means. Would be a good hot weather quaffer.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle at Brickseller, Washington DC (offered by some random drunk customer, who claimed it was the best, of course)
Pale blond color. Grassy aroma of poor Lager. Sweetish taste, no bitterness. Very poor.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Sampled at Tampa RB Gathering, courtesy Degarth, I think. Very clear straw color, zero head. Sweet corn with a helping of diacetyl. Sickly palate, well-carbonated. Unpleasant corny taste with some skunk.

esta tiene que ser la mejor cerveza de el salvador. la toma el presidente y la toman los plebellos. los ignorantes no la saben apreciar por su pequeNo intelecto, y normalmente prefieren las que se toman con limon y sal.

Picked up a quart bottle @ Total Wine in Cherry Hill, NJ for a little over three bucks. I bought the beer more for the old school quart bottle than anything else. Chalk, rice, cooking oil flavors all dwelled in Regia. Maybe that’s the "Extra". Overall a better than average Central American beer, I’d drink it over Corona.
