Very pale, almost colorless, rocky white foam, large bubbles. Clean simple aroma, unoffensive. Clean, malty flavor, sweet, corn and lemon, again unoffensive but rather lacking in flavor.

910ml bottle pours a clear pale golden color with a 2 finger foamy white head that settles down to a hint of lacing on the glass. Aroma is light malts and hops. Taste is moderate malty sweetness with a clean hoppy bitter finish. One of the better beers that this style has to offer.

Quart bottle. This one has that nostalgic smell and taste of old bottle caps. But as you go it isn’t bad. Astonishingly one of the best adjunct beers I have ever had.

Dry, crisp and very refreshing! For the quantity (32oz) and the price ($3) this beer was an excellent choice for these college football bowl games! Not ’adjunct-y’ at all!!!

Regia Extra has a medium, white head, a decent amount of lacing, a clear, yellow appearance, and some tiny particles floating about. The aroma is of sweet bread and a hop zing. Taste is of lightly-toasted barley malt, sweetness, cracker, grass, and it is balanced with a nice hop bite. Moutfeel is light to medium, and Regia Extra finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and mostly dry. This is a delicious beer. RJT

This beer isn’t nearly as bad as many of the malt liquors it’s grouped with. Sure, it’s light and pretty bland but for the price and volume its an amazing deal. I’m pretty particular about beer like most on ratebeer and I admit that Regia Extra isn’t a world class beer, but taking everything into consideration my overall score for this beer is pretty high. If you find it available and are looking for volume at that particular time it is definitely worth a try.

32? oz bottle from a shaker. Pours a standard pale lager golden color with heavy carbonation and a small, white head that lingers longer than most pale lagers but still fizzes away. Aroma is simple malt with a bit of sourness (no date on the bottle). Taste is slightly malty for a pale lager, but overall very generic. Palate is smoother than most pale lagers as well. Overall better than most American macro lagers, but still limited by the style itself. Overall rating 4 out of 10.

TPSA. Pours pale gold with very little head. Not much nose to it at all -- what there was was very light roast and adjunct. Tastes sweet with a little hops bitterness; it’s not bad, it’s just not any different from dozens of others LULs. (Local Ubiquitous Lager). If you were hot and it was very cold, it would work.

Bottle @ home. Light straw yellow appearance with a small white head. Sweet pale malty lager, somewhat grainy nose. Smooth, light grainy, bland pale malty flavor. Pretty bland, flavorless beer but easy drinking.
