rosenbergh (6862) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 10, 2012
500 ml bottle. From bierzwerg.de.
Clear golden colour with small white head. Aroma is mild citrus, some sweetness and malt. Flavour is grassy hops, wet cardboard, malt and some mild sweetness. Easy but not that interesting or tasty.

lusikka (6267) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 22, 2012
500 ml bottle.
Pours a clear golden colour with a minimal white head. Aroma of strong grassy hops and herbs. Flavour is quite intense with it’s grassy hoppiness, herbs, mild bready malts and light citric tartness. Light bodied, dryish mouthfeel and high carbonation. Finishes bitter and grassy. A strongly hopped pils, which is a bit too straightforward.

Day Two of the Great Chris Meyer/Aaron Nielsen Franconian Beer Tasting in Schlitz. Prost! A bit hazy, golden appearance with a white head. Pretty clean, pils malty, lemon/vanilla, straw aroma. A bit tangy, lemon, rich pils malty, hay flavor. Ok.

Bottle by 21.10.12. Noble-hoppy nose with citrus and yeast, pale yellow-golden body with a short white head. Taste is dry, dry, dry, not a lot of bitterness but there’s no sweetness whatsoever and the light, watery body really lets the hops get down to their sucking.

(bottle) pours a clear yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of hay and white pepper, with a light peachiness, some herbal hops and light milk chocolate. flavour is mostly the same, very herbal and spicy, with a hint of carrots and a bitter finish. light to medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Medium head, pale colour, clear. Very nice noble hop aroma. Wasn’t bursting with flavour but was very well balanced, really liked the hoppy bitter finish. Nice mouthfull, was crisp and had a bit of gas. Very drinkable, you could taste the craft that had gone into it. Held up very well against standard Pils from the bigger breweries.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Absolutes Durchschnittspils!

Embrouille (2827) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 23, 2011
Bottled 50cl. Ordered from www.bierzwerg.de. It pours a clear yellow beer with a nicely remaining creamy white head. Lovely, deeply inviting hoppy nose. Biscuity pale malt back. Good bitterness. Grainy. Beautiful lacework. Gooseberries, lime and lemongrass sneaking in. Dryish finish. Very pleasant.
