Deep gold colour with a white head. Sweet aroma that was more butter than caramel. Flavour was buttery too before a hoppy finish. Very drinkable. 3.2.
Second bottle tried 3/11/07. This wasn’t as good as the sweetness was replaced by a strange baked bean-like aroma. Possibly a bad bottle? 2.8
