330ml bottle. Clear amber color. Medium size, beige head, stays. Raisins, fart, malty, sweet, metaboli in aroma. Metallic, malty, sweet, bit yeasty in taste. Metallic and malty in aftertaste. Messy and alcoholic. Brrrrr.

330ml bottle (BeerExpress, Tallinn)
Aroma’s all over the place - rice pudding, porridge, some tinned tomato. Messy and sweet, whatever it is. Hazy orange, small persistent head. Ooh, Anna’s clear glass was clear and less messed up. Boring sweet belgian ale, bready if I’m being complementary, sweetness comes over a little coconutty. Complete mess. Sweet and porridgey. Not a good belgian.

ASPETTO: ambrato bellissimo e limpido. Schiuma bianca, fine, abbondante e persistente.

Bottle from de Bierschuur in Poppel. Nice cloudy amber body with white pillowy head. The aroma is very fruity with mango, orange, fresh herbs and some more sugary malt tones. The taste is full sweet which would have been candy like if not for the balancing hops. The finish is full, long and has some light bitterness.

Zeker voor een amberbiertje is deze erg goed. Er zit zowaar smaak aan, welke zacht is.

Bottle as "Reinaert", no word about Amber but the EAN matches. Cloudy light amber body, tall diminishing head. Aroma has boiled strawberries aka strawberry jam and then some white bread. Also orange sweetness (but not the zestiness). Kind of interesting. Sweet caramelly/malty taste with bread and fresh red grapes. Finish becomes a bit washed-out but this is still a nice and distinguishable Belgian ale.

The regular Reinaert, an amber coloured ale made for Andelot, the company behind the ’Proef’brouwerij but originally (till 1996) made by Van Steenberge; malty beer with slick mouthfeel, fruity aroma and dryish finish, but somewhat thin body and even a bit watery finish.

Desverger (3815) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 6, 2014
Bottle@Ølmesse, Voldby - amber pour and white head. Malty aroma and taste with prominent caramel, earthy yeasty, slight fruity, light spice.
