Mid Brown colour with a thin, tin head. Not a lot in the aroma, just alcohol. Thinnish flavour with figs, honey and a little ripe malty. A slight sour note becoming more apparent in the finish, which is surprisingly clean. Remains refreshing throughout despite the high alcohol content.

33cl bottle. Hazy dark orange/brown with medium to big head. NOSE : tart with spices like clove and cinnamon. Dried fruits like figs, raisins and banana. Vanilla and toffee. Cooked fruits like plums and pears. SIP : medium body with creamy and fluffy texture. The carbonation is decent. Sweet and fruity start. Spicy background. Middle reveals some dried and cooked fruit aromas. Sour is more and more appearing with clove like aftertaste. OVERALL : interesting and easy to drink. Complex but not cloying and overwhelming. Quite OK.

33cl. Trockenpflaume, Kirsche, dabei etwas weiche Hefe. --> ein sehr leckeres Bier! 12/9/11/11

RexTalionis (2408) - FINLAND - JUL 29, 2013
Bottle 33 cl, BBE 12.11.2014. Pours brown in color with a tan head. Nutty and old wood in aroma. Some sweetness as in raisins is as well present. Dark toffee, raisins and hints of dough in taste. Solid brew. Nice sweetish aftertaste without being too cloying.
