Marko (3965) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - APR 30, 2010
0.5l bottle, a leftover from my trip to Graz that was left forgotten in some cabinet in my apartment for a long time. The body is more yellow than golden really, clear and bright. Good, big thick white head that went away at a medium pace. Sweet malty nose, maybe some apricot jam. Ok, nice. The taste is malty, slightly bready. and yolky, mixing with some very light sweetish cooked vegetables, and maybe apples too, but not all that much in a bad way. A very typical Austrian "Märzen". Unfortunately.

Bottle 500ml
Appearance: Clear gold , slightly pale with lighter frothy fizzy top 2+
Nose: gentle , sweet pale malt with light fruit alcohol side. Light mineral hops if you dig dipper.6-
Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied , fairly smooth , bit oily. Sweet malty character with slight sour citric fruit character. Lacking crispness and purity due to strange fruity flavours. Quiet boring.

heavy (2144) - Split, CROATIA - JAN 7, 2008
04/01 0.5 l bottle from Spar in Semriach. Pours pale golden body with medium head. Weak aroma of herbal hops with some pale malt. Flavor is quite typical, too, slight bittersweet, malty and thin bodied. Finish is shorter sweetish. Very average and boring beer.

Comments: Clean and unexciting lager aiming at refreshment. Not too crisp, quite pale with a fair dose of regular pils malts. Sweetish palate. Herbal soft hops.

Papsoe (25085) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 21, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear pilsener golden with a fine, small head. Plenty of good malt in here - and malty sweetness to go with that. Only a slight bitterness. Very classical for it’s style. 200805
