HansJM (358), Norway Feb 13, 2005 A golden, fruity beer...got some wine-feeling with this one, and that’s not bad at all. Sweet/sour taste, fresh and clean. Hops are there, but they’re hidden far back...
tagz (304), USA Aug 16, 2008 draft. surprised at the low ratings. i thought this was an extremely tasty kolsh. pours hazy gold. not much in the aroma department, but the taste brings in sweet bread, grass, and light malt. very clean and crisp but still packing solid flavors. palate was good as well - moderate carbonation, dry finish. BMan1113VR (762), Los Angeles (and Dallas, TX), California, USA Aug 15, 2008 Pours with a small, fizzy, white head that goes quick. Yellow body. Aroma of corn, and some fruits. Taste is sweet, light corn and even lighter fruit. Fizzy mouthfeel. JCastner (21), New York, USA Aug 8, 2008 Pours a light yellow with little to no head at NYC’s Loreley. Pale malt with some Hellertauer hops present, not much else. A lawnmower beer for those without taste buds, this beer is a neatly packaged brand of bland. Not worth the order. CharlesDarwin (1375), State College, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 7, 2008 33cl Bottle at Zeno’s Pub - State College. A pleasant, but extremely faint lemon-sugar malt aroma. Pours a crystal clear, shockingly pale yellow pour, with a crisp inch of white head. Flavor is incredibly gentle and smooth. A very soft light malt sugar, a bit of bread and some faint hoppiness. Too quiet for me. Barely detectable ale esters make one ponder whether or not this is a lager. Clean, of course. Filtered. Bland, really, even if it is smooth and drinkable. JoeMcPhee (3671), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Aug 7, 2008 Tap at Ginger Man. Pale golden beer with a creamy white head. Nice grassy aroma, lightly bready malts with a softly minerally character behind a soft grassy/floral hoppiness. Flavour is well-balanced with the soft minerally character playing nicely off of the light bready malts. A lingering dusty breadiness on the back. On a hot day like today, this is just what the doctor ordered.
