Easy drinking, palatable, great kolsch. Tastes a little like muted apple cider.

Subtle hoppy aroma, pours a nice golden yellow with a thin white head. Crisp, clean almost fruity flavor, virtually no aftertaste. Drinks quick, recommended.

Brooklyn Public House tap ($6): Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is of grass, German hops, and some malts. The problem with this beer is that it is not good. I am very surprised it got this high of a rating considering that it has pretty strong off-notes. The finish of the beer is actually a bit bad. Sure there are hops and malts in this beer and sure, this has more taste than a macro, but if asked whether I would want to drink it again, I would say, "no."

Had this a few times, finally getting around the rating it. This particular time was on tap, pours a pale lager yellow, very fresh aroma. This really is what a good lager should be, very light, very wet, and quite refreshing. Easily drinkable, sure, its not the most complex thing in the world, but its perfect option to offer a usual Macro drinker.

On tap in Cologne, Crisp and refreshing but basically uninteresting

A very weak and tasteless kolsch. Aroma was very grainy. LIght caramel malt and a hint of bread. Pour was a decent medium gold with a puffy 2 finger white head. Taste was pretty weak as well. Thin and watery with a very grainy taste. Biscuity with a light malt presence. Decent carbonation makes the beer drinkable. There are many better kolschs’ out there

Very quaffable, easy going in the balance, not too skunky, a pretty good German summer ale.

Light pale straw color; Light to medium body; Aroma of malt, citrus, & floral; Flavor of slight sweet malt, some hops, citrus, and light fruit; Finish is crisp; Overall, very refreshing.
