Poures from a 500ml bottle into an official Reissdorf Kölsch jumbo cylinder glass, one of my favorite glasses. It is a crystal clear straw color with magnificent tiny bubbles rapidly floating to the top and a nice foamy white head that leaves some really nice lacing. Smell is pretty quaint, a bit of breadiness with very subtle hop. Taste is crisp and delicious, Kölsches are just the most drinkable brew I swear it is like drinking liquid gold. It has a good medium body that is offset with its brilliant carbonation which equates in my opinion to extremely high drinkablility. Its a great malty beer, and it’s got the perfect balance of hops as well. Definitely a bit of bready green apple in here, it ends with a nice dry but bitter hop finish. I’d say the drinkability on this is even higher out of its "own" glass. These things go down like candy on a hot summer day. Overall just a wonderful masterfully crafted brew out of Köln brewed in the Kölsch tradition with passion and full attention.

Bottle. Pours a bright yellow with bubbly white head, medium lacing, surprising for such a light beer. Very sweet cereal grains and sweet malt in the nose, almost has a white wine underpinning to it. Toasty malts start the flavor, rounds out with a white grape sweetness, finishes smooth and dry. Has a touch of body for a lighter color beer, easy to put down, this would be heaven at a summer bbq. Excellent, highly recommended lighter beer.

On tap at ITAP. Golden pour with a white head. Grainy and malty aroma. Flavor is crisp with some bread and maybe a bit fruity. Not my favorite style, but not a bad beer.

I sampled the 500 ml bottle variety. This beer has a beautiful, clear, straw yellow body with a large, white head that leaves great lacing. Lemony aroma with deeper hints of warm, baked bread and fresh-cut grass. Clean, crisp and refreshing palate with a light grain and bready backbone balanced with a pleasing dry, herbal hop bill. Dry and refreshing through and through without sacrificing flavor. An excellent beer.

Light golden color in the glass. Notes of citrus, grass, and grain on the aroma and palate. Crisp and clean. Refreshing.

Popped at home and poured, separated for 3 into small cooler glasses. Bottle had been in my fridge roughly 2 weeks. AROMA: Smelled off when I popped the bottle - skunk, lemon, and a bit of grass. Off-putting. APPEARANCE: Pours a crystal-clear straw gold with a small 1-finger white head with moderate persistence, moderate lacing. TASTE: Wow. Taste is NOTHING like the aroma, and pleasantly so. Gentle malt flavor, a little bit of lemon, a small amount of fresh-cut grass. Very surprising, given the aroma. PALATE: Very light, slight astringent qualities and very crisp. Exceedingly refreshing. OVERALL: A classic case of "don’t judge a book by its cover" - the aroma was scary, but everything else was sublime. I could drink this all day, and at 4.8% ABV, I would be a happy man.

Pours pale yellow with an attractive white head and a nondescript aroma. It’s a standard kolsch with a light malt flavor that starts sweet and fades to bitter. Nice clean taste.
