Tall bottle. Pours a decent head. Filtered clear. Slight maltyness with basically no bitterness at all. Second I have had of the style and it tastes almost exactly the same.

Good for the style. Really not a ton of flavour. Malty flavour and does not make for a good aroma. if you like this style this a a good example

it strikes me as problematic when people rate a beer like a Kolsch as if it were supposed to be a Russian Imperial Stout or something. This beer is refreshing, and good for warmer weather, as a Kolsch should be. And although i would like there to be a bit more aroma, it has a decent enough flavor.

Draft at the KC F.S. Very light color, aroma and flavor. Definitely picked out some lager characteristics but this was kinda liked you diluted a kolsch with a pils. Kinda boring really.

From the bottle, pours a clear pale yellow with a thick bubbly white head. Aroma is corny with some malt offerings. Taste is bland and watery, not as corny as many a microbrew kolsch, drinkable, but not a favorite.

50cl bottle bought in Dusseldorf. Pale amber with a hugh cream head and lots of fizz when first poured, but this rapidly fades; assertive German hop aroma; the first taste impression is that this is light, fresh and easy to drink, but it then becomes more substantial with some oily pear-drop esters. Very pleasant.
