Aroma of wheat, banana, spice, and hops. Taste is fruity, clean, wheaty and bicuity. Nice, refreshing beer that is great for drinking on a hot day. Kolsch is probably the best summer beer to drink. SoLan (1427), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 4, 2009 Clear pale gold. White head. Fresh grains, malted grains, cereal and bitter, mildly earthy hops. Clean, dry finish. Medium to medium/light body, balanced carbonation. Very easy to drink. I could drink a ton of this. Great session beer. Just wish it was $10/6pk instead of $10/4pk. kevd193213 (519), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 8, 2009 Bottle. A clear, straw-colored beer topped by a small, white to off-white head. Rather fruity on the nose, leaving the pale malts in the background. Quite grassy too, with some peppery hop notes way behind the other aromas. Fruity, straw flavor with a good addition of pale malts. Some slightly peppery hops gives a weak but appropriate bitterness, cleaning the palate nicely. Crisp, quenching and mediuim-bodied. A bit sweet finish maybe, where the bitterness are left too much in the back. Kölsch is a hard style to brew, and even though this is not the best of the locals, it’s a pretty good and quenching one. 091008 spkldhenlvr24 (467), Newburgh/Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 1, 2009 16.9oz bottle. Pours a clear pure golden body with a medium sized white head. Weak aroma of grass, straw with some faint citrus. Medium bodied, crisp, creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is mainly malty with a grainy grass finish. Not much going on here, which is what I expected. Overall an easy drinking relatively tasty beer.
