Russo (942) - Campinas, BRAZIL - NOV 30, 2011
Brown bottle. Clear yellow color with a thin white head that keeps a lace until the end. Malty aroma and hints of hops. Flavors is spicy due hops and hint of malt and some sweetnes (weird but nice). Medium carbonation. mouthfeel is kind a nice balanced bitterness and sweetness (maybe because o malt). I like this one!!

kuphish (351) - Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA - NOV 24, 2011
Brown bottle. Thick, foamy white head on a clear, pale yellow body. Head is diminishing and leaves spotty lacing. Spicy hops dominate the nose. Any esters and malt presence are hidden. Flavors are airy and kind of washed out - faint wheaty malt and fluffy, light hops - stale flavors. Lightly rubbery. Medium body with appropriate carbonation. Balance is toward bitterness and pleasantly so. Mildly hoppy, dry finish. Flavors are good (minus the light rubber/sulfur), but washed out.

Bottle, 50 cl: Clear, golden beer with a small white head. Spring-like sweet aromas with notes of grass and grain. The taste is medium sweet with a relatively short slightly bitter and vague spicy finish. Watery and soft in the mouth. Refreshing but short of temper. Could do with a little more fruityness.

Standard Kolsch - Can’t believe these beers are ales. Looks like a pilsener but trades skunk for mild floral. Start is bittersweet and biting followed by mellow finish. Authenticity doesn’t guarantee greatness, but here it’s adequate.
